I'm having a big wedding, how can I fit all my signatures on a platter?
No problem. Remember that even if you have 300 people at your wedding, each individual does not sign -- commonly couples wil sign as one and sometimes families will make their mark as a group. Simply follow these guidelines to get the right size platter for your party:

Having a "huge" wedding? Consider 2 smaller platters -- this will speed up the line-up for signing as well as make a lovely set for your home.

Won't the marker smudge when my guests are signing?
The ceramic marker ink drys to the touch very quickly. Our sample guest platter (as pictured above to the right) was signed by a bunch of people very quickly and consecutively and there are no smudges!
For peace of mind, have a friend or relative standing by your signing table with a clean kleenex or cloth. If by an unusual mistake, someone blobs ink or makes a line accidentally on your plate that is less than pretty, simply wipe it off immediately.

Do I have to bring it back to you to seal after everyone signs?
No! Once your platter is full of wonderful sentiments & signatures, simply allow it to sit & fully dry for 24 hours. Then bake it in your home oven to set the ink permanently. Simple Instructions will be included with your platter & pen when you pick it up.

How much does it cost if I paint my own?
$8 studio fee + the cost of the bisque platter you choose to paint. Un-painted Bisque Platters range from $45 - $65.
(Personalized custom platter orders painted by Bisque It and ready for pick up range from $125 - $175 + tx)

Do I have to use one of your sample illustrations as my centre pattern?
Not at all! If you choose to come into the studio and paint your own platter, feel free to bring anything that inspires you! Magazine clippings, your own sketch, something from your invitation or a greeting card. Show one of our friendly studio assistants and they'll help you take your chosen pic, pattern or text and use it on your platter.

Are guestbook platters just for weddings?
Absolutely not! Guest book platters make a wonderful gift and can be used at any occasion -- birthday, anniversary, retirement, congratulations on your new job, bridal shower, baby shower... much more fun than a card and personalized by everyone giving the gift or attending the party!

When will my platter be ready?
Your custom order will be ready for pick up at least 1 week prior to your wedding date. Most orders are completed within 2-3 weeks of placing your order.

Can you ship it to me?
Yes! We can ship your platter via priority post anywhere in Canada. Price of shipping varies by ship-to location and we will provide you with a quote once your order is received.

If you prefer to pick it up, We will call you when your platter is ready for pick up at our studio. We are conveniently located at Weston Rd & Rutherford Rd, just 1 block west off Hwy 400; only minutes from Vaughan Mills.

Don't forget your ceramic pen or extras for signing -- available in Black or Red for $7.50 each.
